A massive thank you to everyone who came along to Depot Mayfield in Manchester for FAC51 The Haçienda on Saturday 12th October. It really was an incredible night with great performances from Sub Sub, Soul II Soul, A Certain Ratio, Arthur Baker, K-klass, Tom Wainwright, Justin Robertson, David Morales, Louie Vega, Marshall Jefferson and Greg Wilson. Of course I DJ’d too with Mike Pickering before racing from the Concourse to the Depot to perform with Haçienda Classical immediately after our DJ set.
The crowd was absolutely amazing and shared their love all night long for everyone with packed dancefloors and wonderful vibes from start to finish.
Thanks also to the musicians from the Manchester Camerata conducted by Tim Crooks for once again performing beautifully for Haçienda Classical and to our wonderful singers Yvonne Shelton, Rae Hall and Melanie Williams who wowed the crowd with their incredible vocals. Let’s not forget the AMC Gospel Choir either or the crew from Wigwam who are responsible for the sound and lights and everything tech and do an amazing job.
This really was a very special night to remember and one that people will be talking about for years to come. Thanks again for supporting us because without your love we couldn’t continue to do what we do.
Look out for a couple of Haçienda announcements this week and I hope to see you on a dance floor soon.
