After the huge success of the two United We Stream Haçienda House Party online streaming events earlier this year, I’m excited to be part of the NYE Haçienda House Party 24 Hour Livestream from 10am GMT on Thursday 31st December. I’ll be taking you into 2021 on the decks and I’ll also be performing as part of a special Haçienda Classical performance too. Other live acts confirmed for this special United We Stream broadcast include Inner City and Phuture with a DJ line-up that includes Carl Craig, Danny Tenaglia, David Morales, DJ Paulette, DJ Woody, Graeme Park, Greg Wilson, Hewan Clarke, Jon Dasilva, Justin Robertson, K-Klass, Moby, Norman Jay MBE, Peter Hook, Soul Central, Sub Sub, Todd Terry, Tom Wainwright, Tony Humphries with more to be announced.
A very special tribute to Frankie Knuckles is planned in conjunction with The Frankie Knuckles Foundation as Frankie’s 2013/2014 NYE Albert Hall Manchester DJ set gets replayed and performed within The Virtual Haçienda.
All performers involved are giving up their time and talents for free to encourage donations to the charities involved. More details and how to donate from United We Stream
The Stream is free to watch, but viewers can donate via the website with all income going directly to a relief fund with 50% of funds raised donated to oneGM and 50% to charities chosen by The Haçienda which are Save The Children, The Frankie Knuckles Foundation and Peacemeal.

On Saturday the 12th December from midday I’m part of the online 12 DJs Of Christmas live stream which also features David Morales, K-klass, David Penn, Tony Walker, David Dunne, Suddi Raval, Dave Law and more. This is a fundraising event for MS Therapy Centre (NW)

The first batch of my official GP Smiley embroidered logo seats and hoodies will be ready for despatch this week in time for Christmas. I managed to get my hands on the first hoodie in charcoal with a red logo and it looks great. I know that some of you that have already ordered have received an email saying that some sizes and colour combinations won’t be ready as promised. I know you’re disappointed and so am I, but the reason for the delay is Brexit. The items I’ve ordered for embroidery are all available but some are being delayed from arriving in the UK from Europe due to over congested ports. I can only apologise and ask for your patience, but having seen one of the hoodies I can tell you that you won’t be disappointed. In the meantime, thank you for your continued support.

Finally, with the superb and exciting news that a Covid-19 vaccine is being rolled out in the UK, we can all hopefully look forward to getting back to live gigs and club nights in 2021.
