I’m thrilled, honoured, proud and excited to be nominated for the Innovation Award supported by SSE at this year’s Specsavers Scottish Music Awards which takes place online Saturday 28th November. The award is for my involvement in Haçienda Classical which, of course, wouldn’t have been possible without the support and contribution from Peter Hook and the Manchester Camerata as well as our singers, choir, guests and everyone else involved in the show.
The 2020 virtual Specsavers Scottish Music Awards will bring some of the Scotland’s biggest stars together to raise urgent funds for the Nordoff Robbins music therapy charity. Joining the line-up on the night for a special St. Andrew’s Day celebration are Lewis Capaldi, Biffy Clyro, Texas, Amy Macdonald, Wet Wet Wet, Dougie MacLean, GUN, Stephanie Cheape, HYYTS, kitti, Luke La Volpe, George Bowie and Haçienda Classical.
