THE MAKING OF THE HAÇIENDA CLASSICAL DOCUMENTARY BBC RADIO MANCHESTER

Ahead of this weekend’s Haçienda Classical show for Sounds Of The City at Castlefield Bowl in ManchesterBBC Radio Manchester are broadcasting a documentary I’ve produced and presented about the making of the show. In “The Making Of The Haçienda Classical” I chat to the performers and musicians involved in the show including Peter Hook, our conductor and arranger Tim Crooks, our singers Rae HallYvonne Shelton and Melanie Williams plus members of the AMC Gospel Choir and the Manchester Camerata Orchestra. I also talk to some of the sound and production crew behind the scenes about what it takes to make the show sound amazing. I also feature some exclusive, never heard before audio from some of last year’s live shows.
