I hope you all had a wonderful Easter Bank Holiday weekend as the sun shone brightly throughout the UK. I certainly did with three absolutely fantastic gigs.
First up I was at Church in Leeds on Good Friday for the last ever FAC51 The Haçienda club night there due to fact that this magnificent venue is closing down soon. Well we certainly gave it a great Haçienda send off with Inner City performing live straight after my DJ set. We’ve done a few Haçienda nights at Church and they’ve all been big. Once again the Leeds crowd didn't let us down and this was a great way to say goodbye to Church.

The next night I headed down the M1 to South Yorkshire for the 90s Fest at the massive Magna between Sheffield and Rotherham. This former steel forge is now a science park and hosted several arenas of big names for a huge all day festival with thousands of ravers. I DJ’d in the house arena after Todd Terry and Danny Rampling and had a great time.

My final gig of the weekend was at one of my favourite clubs ever as I took my Long Live House club night to the fabulous Sub Club in Glasgow where I DJ’d for five and a half hours playing a variety of lesser known and often overlooked house tunes from the past, present and future. The low ceiling, kicking sound system and up-for-it, younger crowd made this a very special night and was, dare I say it, my highlight of a very enjoyable weekend.

A big thank you to everyone who came along to my gigs at the weekend and I hope you enjoyed them as much as I did..
