As Christmas and New Year approaches, I’m very much looking forward to my forthcoming club nights.
On Friday 21st December I’ll be back in Hull at the Old School House for Mad Friday. Since this former school has been converted into a night club, I’ve played here a few times and it’s always been big. When you add the fact that it’s the Friday before Christmas into the mix, then I’m sure this will be an extra special night.
Boxing Night sees me play at Colonel Porter’s in Newcastle in a repeat of last year’s massive night and I’m certain that it’s odds on to be as fantastic again. I love playing in the North East and the Newcastle massive never let me down.
On Friday 28th December I’m back at the wonderful and intimate Circle in Carlisle. If, like me, you love a club night where everyone’s crammed into a tight space with a kicking sound system too, then you’ll love this as much as I love playing here.
My final gig of 2018 is at The Piece Hall in Halifax on Saturday 29th December. This promises to be a special night in a unique and magnificent historical venue.
You can get full details of the above club nights and radio shows from the Gigs link on my website.
To wrap up an exciting and busy 2018 I’ll be presenting two special shows on BBC Radio Manchester. On Christmas Eve you can hear my exclusive The Making Of The Haçienda Classical one hour documentary and on New Year’s Eve I’ll be on-air from 6pm with my special four hour music show to help get you in the mood for 2019.
I’ll also be continuing my look back at 2018’s biggest tunes in my long running weekly Long Live House radio show which is syndicated around the world.
And don’t forget that my latest compilation album Graeme Park presents Long Live House Volume 1: 1980s is out now. It features lots of overlooked classic house tracks from 1985 to 1989 across three CDs or double vinyl. You can grab your copy from the Store link on my website.
I hope you have a great Christmas and a fabulous New Year and I hope to see you on a dance floor soon. Thanks for your valued and continued support throughout the past twelve months and here’s to a fruitful and successful 2019.
Happy Christmas!
