IDEAL CLUB WORLD RADIO: LIVE 12 HOUR LAUNCH FRI28OCT11

“Reaching out for the Love of Music”

Global Radio Station Brings Together Worldwide Music Community

Ideal Clubworld Radio is set to unite clubland and bring back real love and passion for good music.  Ideal Clubworld is global reporting by music lovers, for music lovers across the world…

The restoration of a broken underground scene is in sight thanks to the launch of new internet radio station ‘Ideal Clubworld Radio’.  Created by Ideal DJs, the platform in the sky is set to shake-up the dance music world to its core. Forget playlists and mainstream music, Ideal Clubworld Radio is edgy, original, and best of all, packed with the biggest personalities in global music.

On Friday 28th October at 6pm (GMT), the full station website of www.idealclubworldradio.com will go live and to celebrate its big launch, a 12 hour LIVE on-air party – complete with live webcam – will commence as the station switches, in real time, between three different studio locations across the UK.

Various DJs from Ideal Clubworld’s northern, southern and western contingencies will be dropping by the studios to join the party, to throw on a few tracks and welcome in the weekend. From the Manchester HQ at 6pm-9pm Jon Fitz will host the “Weekend Alarm Clock” with special guest Graeme Park; live from London Bridge from 9pm-3am The Young Punx will take over the on-air party, before the station switches live to Bristol to the Guru Project’s studio with Simon Kaye from 3am-6am. Each city will have its own surprise guests so you’ll have to tune in to find out who they are!

Ideal Clubworld is committed to the broadcast of live and exclusive shows from hundreds of DJs from around the world, changing from country-to-country and studio-to-studio to bring true radio to the underground masses like no internet station before it. With faces old and new, the station will present weekly shows from Manchester Key 103FM legend, Graeme Park; classics from house & trance maestro John Kelly, and an exciting weekly return to the airwaves for the iconic Tall Pall. The king of techno, Joey Beltram will exclusively broadcast live every week from New York and Berlin, whilst house hero Jon Fitz will be live every Friday from Manchester kick-starting Ideal Clubworld’s weekend alarm clock.

Graeme Park said “Since most major radio stations ignore the plethora of wonderful dance music from all genres, Ideal Clubworld will be the only place to hear your favourite club tunes whatever the style.  Plus, it’s presented by the DJs who know, live and breathe the varied and amazing world of clubs and dance music.”

“Everyone, including myself, has their hearts into this. We’re going to do some big thing here.” – Joey Beltram

Adding to this are over 60 and counting, brand new Ideal shows from the likes of; Aquasky, Fergie, Jason Bye, Eats Everything, Mc Flipside, The House Moguls, Amo & Navas, and club brands such as Back To Basics, Hat Club and Kissdafunk.

Ideal Clubworld has been making gentle waves already on air, 24/7 since 4th July 2011, and is fast growing amongst worldwide communities with over 50 countries tuning in from the likes of the UK, Brazil, Germany, and Japan to listen to – amongst others – Addictive TV interview Karl Bartos from Kraftwerk, Anish K interview Mr Scruff, an exclusive Frankie Knuckles mix on Pete Gooding’s show, and Sacha interview eighties radio DJ legend, Pat Sharp!

Founded from a love of music by Ideal DJs head honcho, Sacha, Ideal Clubworld will offer honest, controversial and straight-up reporting as a ‘music magazine’ on air. It will provide upfront music news, reviews, interviews, and clubbing reports to become a one-stop-shop for the global alternative scene. It will showcase the vast amount of artists who struggle to get their quality music heard due to favouritism seen in so many stations today, giving listeners a true perspective of the worldwide dance floor.

Ideal Clubworld was also born out of common frustration with the current UK club and radio scene, the egos that drive it and the corporate mentality that have taken over. Sacha, the hard working Essex lass – with an eye for spotting talent – along with many artists involved in the station, have felt for too long that the masses of poor music and overhyped DJs are in need of a filter. The artists on Ideal Clubworld are those with the credentials to do it. Sacha explained:

“Ideal Clubworld Radio is a huge vision for me; it’s been amazing to bring together a like minded team to forge a real-life radio station. In recent times, technology, recession and money driven commercialisation have taken the majority of fun out of the scene. We are not looking for perfection or trying to be ‘cool’, we are simply presenting the music we love, chatting about what we know and enjoying having no restrictions”.

Unlike internet stations before it, Ideal Clubworld will incorporate a visual web cam experience allowing listeners to watch the presenters/DJs in action. The station will deliver a high volume of live studio and outside broadcasting from clubs, festivals, live music events and ‘fly on the wall’ film crews documenting DJs on tour from across the world in a format and quality that’s been missing from internet radio.

The main presenter team also includes a return to the airwaves for the highly experienced and acclaimed ex-Galaxy FM drive time DJ, Paul Conroy. Paul is the Ideal Clubworld’s musically educated version of Radio1’s Chris Moyles who incidentally worked with Paul in his early days of radio in Leeds.  The full presenter line-up combined brings together a vast amount of unrivalled DJ and club culture knowledge to pass on to the global underground.

Not just restricted to your desk top computer or laptop either, you can tune into Ideal Clubworld Radio through its Mobile App so wherever you are – in the car or kitchen, a stream of quality music is a push of a button away.

Global clubbers and music lovers will feel part of this fresh and interactive station as it involves its audience and gives respect to the listener by offering a strongly diverse and eclectic range of shows. There is no room for syndicated shows on Ideal Clubworld, only exclusive shows and alternative music. The station is quite simply prepped to start restoring the music fraternity’s faith in the future of good music.

Ideal Clubworld Radio is reaching out for love of music. Isn’t it time you did too? Tune in now at www.idealclubworldradio.com and join the main launch weekend on 28th October at 6pm (GMT).
